Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant

Position: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant

Type: 2 Fulltime & Contract

Number: 2 positions

Duration: 12 months+

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ technical experience in web applications development projects.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in web development using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Oracle SQL database design and functionality, as it relates to coding and to user interface using Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Experience in the use of a code source management.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API development and usage with JSON and/or XML
  • Knowledge of Oracle technologies including Database 12c or higher, PL/SQL programming
  • APEX web development expertise is a must
  • Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher, Jasper Report Server, SAP Crystal Reports a strong plus
  • Knowledge of Linux, including system administration and software installation, is a strong plus
  • Must have a solid grasp of web foundation technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript; and Relational Databases (Oracle) for data storage. Experience in all phases of project management including mission critical projects.
  • Experience in aviation/logistics industry is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • The primary responsibilities include integrations and extensions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for Oracle Cloud ERP Financials and HCM applications.
  • Design and develop integrations in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud including making REST and SOAP calls and FBDI
  • Design and develop outbound integrations to Oracle ERP Cloud including extracts using BI Publisher reports, analysis and OTBI Reports.
  • Design and develop extensions using VBCS and Process Builder in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud
  • Document and manage technical specifications and testing and installation steps
  • Work with functional team to design, develop and deliver integrations
  • Design unit test scenarios, cases, and test scripts.
  • Manage on-time changes delivery and business expectations and ensure internal customer satisfaction

Summary:

Works in partnership with clients, advising them on information technology to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve structure and efficiency of an organization’s systems.

The consultant may be asked to provide strategic guidance to organizations regarding information management, technology infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
